The Triac centrifuge features three operation modes: urine (6 minutes), blood (5 minutes), and microhermocrit (3 minutes). Features include a push-button brake, a lid safety lock, built in microhematocrit reader, and see-through cover. The unit is supplied with an automatic timer and an automatic shut-off when the top is lifted. The Triac centrifuge can accomadate either 12 microhematocrit tubes up to 75mm or can be changed with four interchangeable trunnions. Each trunnion can fit two standard urine tubes or two 7ml, 10 ml, or 15 ml BD Vacutainer tubes.
